FAQ's

Having a marine survey of your boat is a great aid in the sale of your boat. A survey may also be required for insurance or towing policies. Our surveyor is a member of ABYC and the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors. You can rest assured that all surveys will be conducted in accordance with generally accepted marine standards and criteria utilized in the marine surveying industry.

After the survey is conducted, a report will be issued in PDF format containing photographs. This will cover examination of the hull, machinery, systems, rigging, hardware and equipment. The report will also include the "Findings and Recommendations" required for correction to reasonably ensure that the vessel is for for its intended service. A statement of the "Fair Market Value and Replacement Cost" of the vessel will be made in good faith, without prejudice and will constitute a description of the condition of the vessel at the time of the survey.
