The canvas on your boat is what protects your boat, and you from the elements. Biminis, enclosures, and boat covers will need to be waterproofed to work properly. Otherwise water can collect and drain into the boat. A silicon spray is used and will provide months of protection. The canvas must be clean for the agent to take effect. Once the canvas stops beading water, the waterproofing should be re-applied to ensure your boat, electronics, etc are protected from water damage.
