Waxing, or detailing is
important maintenance for your boat. Not only does it make your boat
look great, but it protects your boat from the harmful UV rays that
break down the resins and cause the dull, "chalky" finish.

You can choose a
complete wax, covering the whole boat, or just the hull or topside
waxes. Hull waxes are ideal if you have a darker colored hull, as
they will fade faster and require more attention. Below is a diagram
showing what is covered under topside and hull waxes. Interiors are
billed separately.
When we wax your boat
we will first wash off any excess dirt, then after drying begin the
waxing. We will first use a cleaner wax to remove any stains and
oxidation, followed by a carnauba wax to protect the surface and
keep it looking good. We will also use a protective wax on metal
surfaces, cushions, as well as clear plastic enclosures such as isenglass,
strataglass, etc. Any exterior carpets will be vacuumed.
The interior is not included in the complete
wax, but can be cleaned during our visit for an additional charge.
