To prevent damage from the cold weather and sitting for months at a
time, your boat needs to be winterized. This includes engines,
generators, and water systems. Part of winterizing is changing lubes
and filters as well as protecting your engine and other components
from cracking or corroding by running antifreeze through them and
spraying them down with a corrosion protectant inside and out.. Fuel
will also need to be treated to ensure it does not go stale or allow
water to accumulate.
If
proper precautions are not taken, the damage and necessary repairs
can be costly. It's not worth risking this, let our certified
mechanics protect your boat. Shrink
Wrapping is also a great way to protect your entire boat from
the harsh winter weather.
